Visitors step into the flat via an elegant entrance area which is essentially a preview of the larger volume beyond. Light-coloured sandstone creates a stark contrast with a pair of walnut screens affixed on two sides of the space. Going past a sliding wooden door with sleek stainless steel handles, one finds a sizeable kitchen enclosed by a massive picture-frame style sliding glass door. A half-frosted glass partition with colour-shifting LED-lit upper surfaces serves as a division between the kitchen and the living-dining area, allowing each space to overlook the other and creating a pleasant sense of openness.
