A: So what you are saying is that 'shopping'
is more like a psychological band-aid for the urbanites, when one
is lonely, euphoric or unhappy, one has to shop.
B: Yes, it fulfils the 'hunting' part of our basic instincts. And
as long as it is a convenient, pleasant and relatively inexpensive
experience, people are going to try it...
A: How about if we introduce something totally automatic - without
any shop assistant in sight - and plaster the entire place with
non-stop music, videos, and commercials...
