House As Office / Office As Home
(An excerpt from an article by Alexander
Wong written for
Singapore's 'iSh' Magazine - issue no. 2.4 July 2001 pg. 87 to 89)
"Perhaps
we have, in one way or another, finally come to realize that the
nature of our workplace has already been transformed, almost irreversibly
so, into a totally different kind of environment. Long gone is our
concept of the 'office' as the palazzo or mega-cloister or temple
or factory - and curiously enough, we may even find the glass skyscraper
totally passe as the archetypal workplace of power in the not too
distant future.
